School of Music
The Worldbeat School of Music offers classes and private
musical training in a broad
range of musical styles from around the world. We train the musician
from the basics
of his/her instrument in the classical theory, then jazz theory, and
then apply to popular
forms of music, and ultimately encounter the diversity of other world
music styles and traditions from around the globe. Founded in 2001 by
Jimi Towry, world musician with
a "One World" view and vision.
Our
goal is for the musician to be knowledgable and capable of performing
and
understanding our vast world of music, from his/her own roots.
